First, I want to say that this product is small and keeps your car interior looking neat and clean. It is not bulky like others on the market.Secondly, the magnet is powerful, holds my iPhone 14 pro max with a clear silicone case on. It does not move around while I’m driving, neither a hard bump will. It is sturdy and powerful, just like what is advertised.Thirdly, it is extremely easy to install. Make sure to follow the instruction manual.And lastly, this product came with two phone magnet mounts at a very reasonable price. In fact, it actually worth $19 instead of $14 in my opinion.CONS:The magnet port cannot be adjusted in length; therefore, it is useless if you want to place your phone on top of the car dash.It cannot be installed on leather material surface. So if your car dash is leather, you will need to install it elsewhere, preferably on the car radio system.This product makes my car look sleek, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend.

This is my review, word for word on these magnets with a protective case:((( I love this case but two things, I knew it wasn’t water proof or even resistant, it is very, very, very protective so good I bought it twice, even though I don’t know why, 1 will last a very long time. But it does not have a pure or very magnetic attachment as it falls easy off the magnet no matter how strong, but I ordered about 7 different magnet types, and Coolpow magnets was no contest hands down the best and I will order many more of those for my kayak, mountain bikes, dirt bikes (yes they stick even with me making huge height and distance on my dirt bikes, they still stay just as you put it on… As long as you clean the case really good with high concentration of 90% or more rubing alcohol, Coolpow comes with all the parts you need, (All Coolpow adhesive’s require 72 hours without use to cure) make sure to use Coolpow’s metal plates (pinch caution extremely strong magnets and you can and will get pinched), and the 2nd one is the screen protectors are a little small and don’t quite fit perfect, remember I have bought more than one and have bought from again. Amazing and cool case, make the one magnet change to Coolpow and you won’t be sorry, you will have a case that will make you happy and be as you wanted, maybe more. I have a big smile thinking about them. )))As you saw, I will not name them but Coolpow was the best hands down, no competition at all! (Carefully not to get pinched, magnets are very strong, N52, 8 of them, Crazy!!!)

The key to installing these is too find a slick spot on the dash to mount the base. My experience has been that cleaning a vinyl dash that is porous or rough; does not adhere to the surface well. I tried a couple time, and changed the pads, but no success. I found a slick surface, and it stuck first time; and so far, has not released. I have tried a multitude of other bracket type holders, and have found them too intrusive or ugly. These are the best style to use, in my humble opinion.

I like a lot of things about this car phone holder. It’s small and holds the phone securely with its powerful magnet. It looks like part of the dashboard.I was disappointed to find that it doesn’t hold the iPhone without making use of the included metal piece which must be attached to the back of the phone with adhesive or trapped next to the back of the phone with your phone case. This may be due to my misunderstanding of how the magsafe feature of the iPhone works, but I expected a strong magnet to hold the phone without assistance from an extra component. If you put the metal piece in the middle of the back of the phone – which seems like the natural place to put it – it prevents charging on your wireless charging device. The solution is to locate the metal piece off center. I put mine toward the bottom of the phone. This allows the phone to charge on the wireless charger and also works with the phone holder in the car.

This attaches with a peel off sticker. It adheres well to the dash of my car. I live in the AZ Desert and I don’t want a phone blocking my A/C vents. This fits the bill.It is smaller than the plastic type mounts i have tried. The pivot is firm with the full metal contstuction (ball and socket). It stays put when you adjust it. The magnets are powerful as indicated in the listing.I have a hard plastic case on my phone. I needed to use the thin self adhesive metal plate and put it on the back of my case. It is very thin. They gave me several of these (at least 4). I did a slight trim job with some tin snips to make it fit my case (issue with built in case stand). It works perfectly. Solid magnetic connection.I am most pleased with the all steel construction. No Plastic. This is the best dash mount I have bought. If I have a problem with the adhesive giving way over time, I would just drill a couple of small holes in the metal base of the stand and screw it to the dash. I don’t expect that to happen.This is a GREAT mount.

Looks elegant, the provided metal pads with self adhesive are really strong, feels very sturdy and has just the right amount of firmness meaning not hard to reposition the base at the same time not feeling loose, and it really is made of metal all over so no plastic to break, it’s base is small enough even for my Fiat 500 with it’s tiny dashboard at the same time sturdy enough to carry my Nokia xr20 which weighs .547 pounds without even shaking.

I like these phone holders. The magnet is strong enough to hold my Samsung Android smartphone in an Otter case on the front panel next to the radio. I’ve tried mounts that sit on top of the dashboard or use a suction cup to stick to the windshield but the phone gets too hot on sunny days. I know someone that drove cross country with a windshield mount last summer and the heat from the sun killed their phone.The problem with this mount is that the adhesive that sticks it to the dash does not hold up, especially in the summer. I live in North Texas and 100º days are not uncommon from June through August. No matter what kind of adhesive I use, when it starts getting hot the mount falls off the dash. Usually at the most inconvenient time. After the double sided tape that came with the mount failed I tried various types of 3M and Gorilla double sided tape. Same problem with each: after a few weeks the adhesive deteriorates and the mount falls off the dash. If you live in a temperate climate (for example, Minot ND) which is more often cooler than hot this might work for you. But if you live in a warmer place and have anything other than a very small and light phone you might as well order a couple of rolls of heavy duty double sided tape along with this mount because you will be replacing it several times over the summer. I’ll keep experimenting (unless I find a better mount) but there doesn’t seem to be a type of tape that lasts more than two or three weeks when the Summer weather gets hot.

Perfect solution for a cell phone in a car. The base adheres with a sticky disk that hasn’t let go so far. The phone is held by a magnet, that attracts a thin plate. The place can be glued to the back of the phone, or as in our case, inserted inside a thin protective case that the already houses the phone. Never had a problem with either end becoming unattached. Used it a lot for both storing the phone while in the car and for navigation.

I didnt expected it to work as good as it did. The small sleek design fits effortlessly on the radio and i could have pick a better choice. And It handles and angles the the phone the way i wanted it, long and short i am oh pleaseed with my purchase and 10/10 recommended.
