I did not order the set that comes with the different scents after reading reviews about how not all the scents smelled good. I ordered the set with the refills and decided to try opening one of my Airwicks and dipping one of the refills inside, worked great.These do not give off a huge scent when you open your car door but as soon as you turn on your air, then you do get a nice subtle scent throughout your car. I actually now prefer this method.If you hate hanging those ugly car scent thingy’s on your mirror I would highly recommend.

I love this!!! I can customize it with any scent. This is easy to use. One end unscrews for the scent stick and the other end controls the scent strength. Nice compact design and durable product.

Update: The company reached out to me and refunded me $3 since I wasn’t happy with these. I thought that was very nice and kind of them.These are cute to fit in your air vents in the car. They weren’t expensive and are kinda cheaply made but you get what you pay for. The scent I used soaked into the cotton tube thing you get to put inside the metal part was easy to do but I have it wide open and I can’t smell it in my car. I should have sent them back.

I bought this despite having reservations that blowing a stick covered in oil would actually produce any smell, but the positive reviews made me curious enough to try it.Turns out, my judgement was correct. I completely submerged and saturated one of the sticks in a larger bottle of eucalyptus essential oil that I have, and when attached to my air vent with the AC blowing, I could barely smell it for that initial car ride, with the AC blowing through the tube right at my face. Zero scent within about 30 minutes.The idea that you could attach a sleek little tube to your vent and make your car smell like your fave essential oil is appealing–but unfortunately it just doesnt work like that. The fumes don’t last. Get a diffuser.Don’t waste your time and money on this expecting the advertised outcome. I dont know how this thing has ANY good reviews. I swear people just get excited about getting a new thing and leave reviews based on assumption with absolutely 0 experience using it.

These are the best! They work so well and I love that I can customize the smells for my car. Much more affordable then buying name brand car air freshener.

Within a month of using these, one of the diffusers changed colors, but only in the middle. I thought it might have been from the sun, so I switch their positions, but the other diffuser never changed colors. It’s now been almost a year and they continue to look like this. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on there, I used the same amount of scent and the vents in my car are always on the same setting.When they were brand new, they definitely looked really cool. I think the longevity of the scent is going to depend heavily on what brand of scent you buy. These diffusers aren’t airtight, and they do about as well as you’d expect from a little tube of metal. It smells really strong at first, and then fades after a couple hours. I never got my car to hold a scent consistently from more than two or three days. It was just such a hassle to keep refilling it, and I ended up switching to a generic air freshener.

I like that you can choose your own oils to infuse the sticks with. I’d say you need more than two for a medium sized car. Works best with the air on of course. For my suv I’ll need another 2-4. For the medium sized sedan ids say to Is “ok” but three or four total would be best. I like how many stick refills come with it too!

Just soaked the inserts with chosen essential oil or mix, and dial in the amount of release based upon what you are looking for. Have not used long enough to determine when the insert requires replenishment.
