  • WIDE COMPATIBILITY – Recommended by YouTube star Scotty Kilmer on his channel. Works on most vehicles sold in the U.S. with a model year of 1996 or newer; Supports all OBDII protocols: KWP2000, ISO9141, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM and CAN (Controller Area Network); Displays in English, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, Dutch, Russian and Portuguese; Requires no battery or charger as the unit is powered directly from the OBDII Data Link Connector in the vehicle.
  • CRITICAL FUNCTIONALITY – Quickly reads and clears stored emissions-related codes, pending codes, and displays code definitions. Turns off the MIL (check engine light), helps reset the monitor before you take the car to smog, and lets you know what’s going on before you take the car in for repairs.
  • ENHANCED OBDII DIAGNOSTICS – Supports O2 sensor and EVAP (evaporative control) system test. The AD410 code scanner can be used to initiate a leak test of a vehicle’s EVAP system by monitoring the integrity of the fuel tank system. The O2 sensor test is used to monitor and adjust the air/fuel mixture, which can identify and correct problems related to fuel efficiency and vehicle emissions.
  • QVGA DISPLAY & NEW UI – The AD410 code reader is a greatly improved upgrade from simpler diagnostic tools. It features a 2. 4″ TFT true color display (262K) LCD for clear viewing of test results. With the clear design UI, users can easily access setup, OBDII diagnostics, I/M readiness and DTC search and check. No need to read the manual to know what to do, even for a beginner.
  • DIAGNOSTIC REPORTS & UPDATE – The Review & Print option allows you to save or print diagnostic reports as needed. The ANCEL brand offers lifetime free software updates for this unit to fix the latest bugs or add new parameters. Simply download the software from the ANCEL website and then follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

  1. Michael –

I bought this to use on a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and it helped troubleshoot several issues to get the car running great again. It shows a lot of information and is easy to get and clear error codes on the car. The manual that comes with it is not very useful but the interface is pretty straightforward and easy to figure out. Well worth the money.

I am a mechanical moron, cars are not my thing I want them to go vroom vroom when i turn the key on, if not…well i know how to use jumper cables…that’s about it, well I mean I can check fluids n stuff like that too. But this fancy shmanchy OBDII reader is back lit so its easy to read, menu is easy to navigate. Has fancy things that probably mean more to mechanics but not to me. The back lit screen means you can take a picture of said code or other data on it and txt it to your mechanic. There’s a record function and you can upload via usb to your computer…I can’t seem to hit the buttons in the right order to do that but its a great option. I wish…the cord was longer, it takes live data so you can record the data it gets as you drive…but at least on my pickups…the cord is to short it leaves it flip flopping by your feet, another 3 ft of cord would let it sit on the seat. Great buy for mechanics…great buy for us mechanical morons to help us out when “check engine’ light is on. aka can I ignore that problem or go fix it now.

If you are looking at this item, you probably already know what a scanner does. This one does a bit more. The real-time graphing is good. It does a better job than my old $20 model for detailed information. Some of it might not make much sense at first, but after some research, you can diagnose many problems at home.

It seems to work as I expected. I was also able to test my oxygen sensors. I used it for two of my cars and it saved me from going to Autozone to pull the codes. Great value in my opinion.

Great for most with basic auto knowledge. Instructions were lacking but fairly easy to figure out the operations.

This automotive scanner code reader is working great, it is simple to use and user-friendly. I recommend it.

Many functions work well , but the tool does not remove history items. So while not of uses that I wantedit does others well. Delivery was quick and without problems. If your problem is clearing annoying history records , this won’t do it.

I purchased this based on a review by Scotty Killmer. It is slightly difficult to navigate at first but you get used to it. I needed it because my BlueDriver would not clear codes, store my vehicle information and mileage and other things.I like that it it simple but has enough features for what I plan to use it for.It just works and with a little patience I was able to navigate the device with ease.I would buy this again and would recommend it.

  10. Benny Rutledge –

Took a minute to navigate the buttons, once in proper mode the scan took 1 minute to display fault(s). Displayed code and description. Thought I needed torque converter, it was shift solenoid and trans control module. Saved me from getting repairs I didn’t need. If you need trans service on your car, use this first so you know what to have done to your car. Comes with USB (type C) cable to download info to your computer. There are more expensive analyzers out there, but this one ideal for first timers and to keep in your toolbox. Big thumbs up for this one, buy the damned thing if you have hidden issues.
