I used this product and included adapter to connect my Bose QC headphones to inflight entertainment audio jack on a recent international flight (Qatar Airways in this case) . This device is surprisingly useful for the cost as the battery life was great and my headphones had no trouble connecting. The range is also great as I was able to keep my headphones on while walking about the 77W aircraft, including visits to Lav without losing signal. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I bought the Avantree Relay to adapt my work radio to use a wireless earbud instead of the wired earpiece provided by my employer. It has never dropped connection to my earbud, has provided excellent audio quality, and has battery life well exceeding what I require of it. It is lightweight, attaches securely to my radio’s mic, and sits comfortably against my neck.It should be noted that previously I would mostly hear incomprehensible chattering, music, horrifying screeches, or an ear-splitting digital tone. Now, between the Avantree Relay and my earbud’s voice equalizer preset, I’m actually able to hear my coworkers. It makes working in an old haunted building at night a little bit more comfortable.

AirPods are fantastic at noise reduction (I have AirPod Pro 2nd Gen), and planes are super-noisy – especially if you end up near the engines. Last year I was on a flight and struggled to hear the movies over the engine noise with the supplied $0.50 earbuds they hand out. I had my AirPods with me, and for about half the flight I just sat quietly with my AirPods in, canceling out all that engine noise. I thought – “I wish I could use my air-pods to listen to the movie”. While sharing this thought with a friend a few weeks later, he said – “you can” – and this is the answer.It is pretty easy to pair AirPods with this devices. Apparently you can pair two sets – I didn’t try that.Getting it to work is just a little bit glitchy (hence only 1 star) – sometimes sound only comes out of one pod, and sometimes switching the relay off and on fixes that, sometimes the working pod needs to be returned to the case, and the relay switch off and on. Usually it takes a moment of futzing to get both pods working correctly – and then it just wqorks.On our last trip I enjoyed the in-flight movies soooo much more thanks to this little gadget. I wish it was less fiddly, but I don’t fly all that often. This is definitely a keeper.

I did not notice any lag at all. Very easy to set up! Battery is good even for long flights; 14 hours. Highly recommended!

I had been considering buying this for a long time but had seen mixed reviews previously and always forgot to buy it in time for my next flight.The product description made me think this might not work well with AirPods Pro, but thanks to another helpful review saying they did, I purchased it and was not disappointed.No more wired airline earphones where you can still hear everything.. now I had noise cancellation through my AirPods Pro and the use of this tool, I could watch the entertainment more comfortably.The pairing process is simple and quick and the device itself lasted my whole 9hr flight without needing recharging (unlike my AirPods).I haven’t yet paired two devices to it yet so i’ll be interested to see how that turns out, but so far i’m very happy and would definitely recommend the product!

Took a couple tries and it works now.Connecting it to my Bluetooth headphones was very easy, took a couple tries to get the sound coming out of it was the hard part.At first couldn’t get the sound though the headphones I got, but I do hear sound coming from somewhere, it turned out the device itself can emit sound. After turning it off/on a few times I got sound coming out of both of my old headphones. ( Soundcore Q20 & Q30 ) They are both working fine now.I knew eventually I have to get something like this for my aging parents and was surprised that this kind of adapter existed. Super glad that it worked well, so I don’t have to spend $$$ on those over priced TV headphone sets for my Parents as the ones we got my grand parents.

Tried two units with my AirPods Pro, both had huge timing imbalance between the left and right AirPods resulting in all sounds having an echo. If I reconnected the AirPods, the amount of imbalance or echo would change quite dramatically, leading me to believe there is something inherently wrong in the design. I have a much older Bluetooth transmitter that works perfectly with my airpods and other Bluetooth headphones. I’ve gone back to using that one

This works really well. Simple on-off button, and can pair with up to 2 devices so you and your partner can share bluetooth headphones and listen to movies together on the plane or at home.Comes with a handy pouch which comes in VERY handy when travelling. And they supply a 2 prong adaptor for those international flights.Liked it so much I bought multiple of these.

Got this for my trip. Work perfectly on the the listed aircrafts. Paired up with my Bose QC earbuds on first attempt. Lasted for a 15 and 6 hour flight with out recharging. If I were to loose this I would buy again without hesitation. A product that actually works as advertised. Would buy again.
