Great little product. I have a receiver type of one in my car and have used it for YEARS so I can listen to my phone thru my car speakers using bluetooth but I needed the Transmitter function this one has so I can hook it up to my Denon stereo receiver and listen to my JVC turntable using my AKG wireless/bluetooth headphones. Also works well with my bluetooth wireless earbuds. The little Transmitter/Receiver switch on the side has to be switched to the right setting – and it’s nearly impossible to see the “Tx”, “Rx” stamped on it – had to use a magnifying glass. Also – this has a mini-stereo plug – so you’ll need one of those 1/4″ stereo to 1/8″ stereo converters because most vintage stereo receivers (like my Sony, Sansui and this Denon) all have 1/4″ stereo plugs. I have accumulated lots of those over the years so I didn’t buy one so I cannot recommend one – but you’ll want one that has the 1/4″ stereo male to 1/8″ female connector – and don’t get the ones with the 1/8″ female connectors that ‘screw in’ – oh – I’ll just go to Amazon and find the one you want – this one: VCE 6.35mm (1/4 inch) Male to 3.5mm (1/8 inch) Female Stereo Audio Jack Adapter. $7 for two gold plated ones. Hmm. I may buy these – they are probably better than the ones I have!

My 2013 car doesn’t have Bluetooth for audio and so I thought of trying this product. These were ready to go within seconds and functional product overall. I would recommend these for the price factor.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Very functional product. Converts wired 3.5mm jack Aux port to Bluetooth wireless port- Plug-n-play product and doesn’t need any driver installation- Latest Bluetooth standards and capability- Speed & responsiveness is as good as the inbuilt Bluetooth capability- Connection doesn’t drop at all- Tiny in size without any antenna and hence easy to handle- Wide compatibility. Works on various devices- Has an inbuilt rechargeable battery with long battery backup- Reasonably priced in the competitionCons:- None at this price point & the functionality

So I purchased this to be able to use my AirPods with my ps portal. For this purpose it works great. Easy to set up and works well. My only issue is the battery life isn’t that great. I am not an hours on end gamer I play casually and maybe for an hour or two at most on days when my tv is otherwise occupied( by the kido) but really I get about 2 hrs before it starts to run low on battery and you get some strange clipping.That being said I would recommend this product for the casual gamer.

The device would appear to connect to the Bluetooth speaker I was hoping to pair to my TV, however no sound would ever come out of the speaker while the device was on transmitter mode. I tried receiver mode with headphones and couldn’t get that to work either. The manual is very tiny and unclear so it’s possible that I’m facing a user error. It’s now in a drawer until I feel like trying to mess with it again.UPDATE: Seller reached out and processed a full refund, which is much appreciate as this device won’t do me any good. The customer service bumps this up to 3 stars from the 1 star I originally left.

I use it with an older Roku ultra that doesn’t have Bluetooth for Audio devices. Sound quality is great. I did notice after some frustration that if my ear buds weren’t connected when I plugged the transmitter into the Roku remote’s headphone jack it locks the up the Roku forcing it to restart. As long as the ear buds are connected before connecting to the headphone jack it works great! I’ve only used it as a transmitter so far.

It was easy to set up once I pushed the plug all the way into the receiver (I didn’t want to force it). I’m using it with the TV. The sound doesn’t line up with the voices, slight delay but you get use to it. It has a good range when I walk into another room or two away from the TV.

The battery doesn’t last more than 2.5 hours, not at all ideal for what I need for work. The metal part that is part of the 3.5mm jack already comes apart after just a few weeks and I regularly have to put it back together. Occasional skips/pauses in music as well. It’s a shame because the connectivity is as easy as it gets. Unfortunately that’s really the only significant positive about this.

The smaller part of the connection just pops out every time its removed from the TV. Luckily, the solder points seem to be pretty solid because I haven’t accidentally yanked them off yet.Hard to tell when its On or Off, the slider switch has no markings or if it does then my old eyes can’t see them. The light is consistently on when it is plugged into a power source, so even that doesn’t help. I think it’s just always on, so I have no Idea what the slider actually does.The face of it is jet black, with 1 dot light. The connection piece is gold in color. The product looks very similar, but not exact to the picture.That being said, it works just fine.Docked a star for making me go buy super glue to secure 3.5mm connector, and for just overall design.

Update: I found you need to shut off anything with a Bluetooth connection before it will connect to headphones, gut off BT on all phone, tablet etc.. then plug it in, set to tx, turn in wireless headset and it connected.. after I use it for a bit, see how well it works, I might give it five stars but getting it connected alone gave it a four star.I bought these to connect wireless headphones TV. I put it in the headphone Jack in TV but my headphones do not connect to tx… I get a request to connect to my phone, which is not what I need, no directions how to connect wireless headphones. I’ll keep working on it.

Works well, good battery life. But pulls out slightly after an 30min to an hour of driving. Only causes lower and distorted sound that can be fixed by simply pushing it back in. Otherwise Works great!
