This unit is awesome. Easy to use and very capable for the price. It has helped me quickly diagnose and address problems on many of my vehicles. The only problem is I only have one and have to remember which truck I left it in. This tool has saved me thousands over having someone else diagnose issues.

I really like this tester. The cost is modest for the information it provides. I used it to resolve issues on my grandson’s Sentra and my wife’s Beetle. I plugged it into the OBD2 port and it fired up immediately. I wasn’t able to make much sense of what it was telling me until I bothered to read the directions. (Duh) Those are clear, well-written, and make this Foxwell tester easy to use (once I finally read them). I originally bought this to carry in my motorhome, as on-the-road service is a nightmare. Haven’t needed it for that yet, but definitely got my money’s worth by being able to isolate the needed repairs to the two cars.

Appears to be a solid product and once I decided to read full instructions it was easy to use. It identified the problem code correctly as I had taken my care to a parts store before purchasing this unit. Most important after I corrected the problem, the unit was able to reset the code in my car and my warning light went off. With only one use, it is on my recommended list.

I bought this to diagnose an issue with my older vehicle. This reader fit the bill for my at home mechanical endeavor in terms of price and functionality. It plugged right into the cars ODB2 port and quickly checked for any relevant error codes. Would recommend for amateur or professional.

I purchased the Foxwell NT301 OBD2 Scanner with high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. While the user interface is relatively simple, the overall performance left much to be desired.The trouble codes were not always accurate, leading to confusion and frustration. In some cases, the scanner failed to detect issues that I knew existed based on my vehicle’s behavior. Additionally, the real-time data display was often slow to update, making it difficult to get a clear picture of my car’s performance.I also found the compatibility claims to be somewhat misleading. While the scanner did work with my vehicle, it struggled with certain makes and models, leaving me unable to diagnose issues in other cars.The build quality of the scanner was not as robust as I had hoped. The plastic casing felt flimsy and didn’t inspire confidence in its durability. I also experienced some issues with the buttons being unresponsive at times, which added to the frustration.In the end, the Foxwell NT301 OBD2 Scanner left me disappointed with its inconsistent performance and lack of accuracy. It didn’t provide the reliable diagnostic information I needed, and I ended up looking for alternatives to address my car’s issues.

This is my first time ever using a car scanning device. mind you I am 52 years old and never used a car scanning device. I was nervous at first because I wanted to make sure I did not make a mistake with the device. Within the first five minutes, I was able to run a scan on my vehicle and see exactly what was wrong. It is incredible the information that this device was giving me of my vehicle. After the diagnosis, I went to my mechanic and told him what I found. He was impressed with the device and said that I saved myself about $129 by scanning the problem myself. I recommend the scanner to anyone who believes they can’t do it. Got the dreaded check engine light and all of the Eyesight related safety features were deactivated when my gas cap hadn’t been fully tightened on my 2022 Subaru Outback. Despite what the dealer said, the lights never reset themselves after 30 miles, so only way to reset warnings was to take the car to the dealer, or reset using this device. And now I can do diagnostics with this handy OBD2 scanner on all my cars if I get any warning lights in the future!
