I bought a new video card which happened to come with a support bracket. Trying to get that into my case was a struggle. I spent a good 30 minutes trying to get it in. The trouble with the bracket is that it needed to rest on top of the metal connectors for the video card and the card next to the video card – this may the screws much harder to align. Then I got the brace. It took me longer to get it out of the box then to install it. It was crazy easy and quick. Moreover, I think it actually does a better job supporting the card.The only thing you have to pay attention to is clearance. The video card I put in was long enough where that was not an issue (the cards next to the video card are much shorter). Cabling could also be an issue with a smaller case.To be honest, $10 is probably a bit high for what this is. I suspect you could probably assemble one for less than $1 from parts at your local hardware store. That being said, it does appear to be a good quality and I am quite pleased with it.

Product is exactly as shown. It’s a very inexpensive but perfect solution to graphics card sag. Works exactly as as advertised. Magnet at bottom keeps it in place and pad at top keeps card from getting scratched. Very stable. Definitely recommend if you need something to get the job done but don’t want to spend a lot of money.

Adjustable for most cases and configurations. One end of the device is strongly magnetic so install is as simple as adjusting the length and slapping it in place. Once adjusted and attached the magnet and pressure on the brace from the graphics card keep the brace in place even if you have to move the PC around. It looks nice when installed and does exactly what it’s supposed to do with about 10 seconds of effort.If the surface where you plan to attach the brace is not metallic, it will still work, but I’m not sure I would recommend this type of brace. This design works best when you have a metal surface under the graphics card on which to attach the magnetic end of the brace.

Works perfectly and does exactly what I need it to do with no problems at all. It extends pretty far and isn’t made cheap so I would recommend it if you have a larger GPU or if you just have any GPU sag at all.

Don’t buy the horizontal braces, just get this one.
I used to have one of those long aluminum braces that screw to the PCI bracket holes with a small piece of rubber as the point of contact to rest the video card on. Those are absolutely useless. They’re a pain to unscrew if you need to remove the video card, the rubber piece cracks, and some sagging will still happen because there’s a small margin for the brace to wiggle around.This pen-shaped solution is much more simplistic and essentially a fool proof design. The bottom is a powerful magnet to prevent it from shifting around and keeping it upright. The top is finished with a felt-like material to prevent scratches when it makes contact with the video card. You can twist it to extend the height to make it a perfect fit, or overshoot it a little for a peace of mind.Does not require tools, 100% works, costs about $12, basically a required purchase for any traditionally mounted build.
