For the small size of this unit, it really puts out some decent power. Very happy with the sound quality also. Driving 6.5″ marine speakers

This is the second of these handy little units I’ve installed. Made a huge difference on my 05 Road King and did the same on my 16 FLHTKL. Didn’t realize I was going to have to pull the whole fairing apart to swap speakers and all THAT, but if you’re going to do it….The biggest issue I had was the splicing and soldering of the individual wires for the speakers. I was going from a Soundstream Reserve HDHU14+ into the amp and then into the actual speakers. Was able to take my RCA outputs directly from the HU into the amp and then splice the output wires directly into the harness between the Soundstream and the stock HD audio harness. Thankfully all wire colors matched up to simplify things. Added some JBL speakers all the way around. On this install, I did need to patch in the Power control (blue) wire to alert the amp it was time to turn on. I wired it into the heated handgrips so it would be a switched control. On my Road King install, the input strength automatically kicked on the amp. With the low-power RCA inputs on this FLHTKL install, the amp needed a heads-up.Was originally not happy as the sound was real muddy in spite of the more powerful amp and speakers. NOTE: If you have this problem, turn OFF your equalizer settings. You should have plenty of power to drive those speakers and not really need the equalizer. Besides, as in my setup, with 6.5″ speakers, you’re NOT going to really be thumping any bass – no matter HOW much you try to pump it up. IMMEDIATELY became much cleaner and REALLY kicked!Again, super happy with THIS install. It may not satisfy the audiophiles out there, but for me rolling down the road and wanting to hear some Molly Hatchet at highway speeds? It’s just the thing. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

Great Amplifier. Just got it installed and what a difference but will review after a few months to see how warm it will get after being pushed a bit. **UPDATE** 4/26/21. Amp was installed but my exhaust was way too loud. Added additional amp to the rear 6×9 speakers and left this amp for the 2 front 6×5. Power is seriously good and being that there is only 2 speakers per amp you don’t have to turn the gain almost full power. Even with that issue heat on the amp didn’t really overheat. It got warm don’t get me wrong but no overheating issues. Would highly recommend this amp for 2 speakers only. With 4 speakers it’s not enough power in my opinion. **Update** Installed baffles on exhaust and had a good friend who was more knowledgeable retune the system and what a difference. Turned out gain was all the way down (go figure). After system was retuned it is more then enough power to hear. It cranks while going at just about any speed. The rear speakers are more for slower in town speeds since your front handle the the sound better at higher speeds. Excellent amp and must have excellent speakers as well.

Great little amp. I have added this to my goldwing to power the 4.5 inch polk audio speakers (front and rear). what a difference.

This amp is the perfect size to install on a Harley touring motorcycle, it fits nicely in the fairing. Install was very easy and straightforward. My head unit is a SoundStream Reserve HDHU 14+, Kenwood speakers. The amp does not draw a lot of power so I tapped the power and ground leading to the stereo. I will run cables to the battery later. I bridged the amp to two channels since I only have two front speakers on by Harley. Amp provides great power and sound.

Do not buy this amp! I bought one, installed it on my bike, powered everything up and the amp did not work. I checked all the wiring to insure proper installment, then checked the fuse, the fuse was blown, changed fuse and it blew immediately once powered back up. This amp was bad from the factory. I got a replacement sent to me, installed it and it worked and sounded great, for about 5 hours of riding time. Started my bike up one morning, there was no bass, all treble and the vocals were muffled. I tried adjusting the amp but nothing helped, swapped my speakers to run off of the head unit and they sound fine now. I do not recommend and I will never buy Kenwood again!

Bang for your buck! Amazing little amp, dont let the size fool you, it outputs 45W rms per channel, it is means about three time the power of any head unit and it is very small, easy to fit almost anywhere in the car. Sound quality is top notch

El tamaño y el poco consumo El tamaño es fabuloso de pequeñita que es,funciona bastante bien, no hay presencia de ruidos, quizás se calienta un poco pero real mente vale mucho la pena.

Great Little Amp A great little amp. ITs amazing how small this is. Its just what I needed in a 4 channel amp because I had major room issues. Being marine grade is a bonus. It is a bit pricey but the small size and performance I believe make up for it. I am thinking on doing more upgrades and with space being an issue will not hesitate to buy another.
