The CD player arrived and was easy to set up. CD played first time and the sound quality was good. A little heavy on the base, but that was OK. We’ll see if it last longer than a brand I recently purchased (not this brand) which lasted six months. That is why I got the extended warranty – three years.

I needed a device to allow for Bluetooth, USB, and radio playback after returning a different product that I had issues with some MP3 playback on. I didn’t really need the CD player but it’s a nice option to have. The Bluetooth works great with my android phone, but my main interest was in the USB for playing my MP3 collection. USB playback worked flawlessly, decent sound quality, and plenty enough sound volume to cover my garage work area. Scanned for radio stations and seemed to work ok but I think it logged all channels it found in “favorites.” I couldn’t determine how to remove all the stations I had no interest in but didn’t spend much time on it so it may be possible (but if not, that would not be preferred when stepping through the presets). I havent tried battery operation so can’t speak to battery life.

When I took it out of the box I was a bit put off at how small it is. It is about the size of a regular sized Toaster. My first thought was that is going to sound crappy, and I will probably end up sending it back to Amazon. I turned it on, plugged in a USB stick and listened. It does not have separate bass and treble controls, it has different sound settings you select with the push of a button. On the “rock” setting you get a little bass boost and other frequency enhancements like you get with a loudness button on a stereo receiver. And honestly, it sounds pretty decent for a little radio. The music that comes out of it is full and clear, but it will not thump or ” rock the house”. But for $49.00 it’s not bad at all. P.S. it does not get AM radio.

I’ve been using it weekly for about a year and am pleased. It is compact, easy to use (thanks to a good instruction booklet) for both radio and CDs. I have only a small room so the volume is great even on low setting and I don’t have to worry about disturbing others. I have no need for very loud projection so don’t know how that would work if needed. Lightweight to carry if needed, but I don’t usually need to move it.

I realize the price was right, but products today are just crap! I mean, at least if it’s a boom box, it should BE a regular run of the mill boom box! There’s NO on/off switch, you have to unplug it to turn it off… just imagine using batteries!? No choice/preference setting for sound, just volume. The sound isn’t boom box at all, very tinny. The radio I replaced (SONY), was about 30yrs old with a great deep sound. I doubt very much this will last even 5 yrs. I think I’m going to hit garage sales and try to find the quality of yester year. For now, it’ll do in the garage.

This portable FM radio and CD player is constructed of outstanding quality and provides consistent playing of music across different forms of input. Its ability to acquire a radio signal is solid even when broadcast across cities. The CD player works great as well and has no issue reading compact discs. Volume controls are excellent, and they work effectively. Both forms of energy input work well, and this radio can be used via AC or DC current without difficulty. The physical construction of the radio is solid and appears quite durable. I think this is a radio that could last for quite a while, at least in indoor environments. This radio was an exceptional purchase compared to other FM radios on the market. I highly recommend this radio in comparison to other available radios.

I purchased this product in order to listen to books on CD. It played for a few times, but then seemed to develop issues with playing. The part of the player that shows you which function it is in, seemed to become scrambled, maybe a defect in the way the device was programed? It became VERY frustrating to use. The radio works good. The sound quality and volume are very good. But it is unreliable. It was purchased in order to listen to books on CD, and it is useless now, and disappointing. If you want a great radio, I highly recommend this, BUT look ELSEWHERE IF you want to listen to books on CD.

I was looking for a small portable boombox with cd player, auxiliary in, and a headphone jack.This is the one Amazon recommended me first, and it kept popping up. But I wanted do do some research, read reviews, watch videos, read comments. Checking watts and speaker sizes. After a few days and many hours, I ended up getting this one. The one Amazon told me to get in the first place lol.And I couldn’t be happier! It’s perfect and exactly what I was looking for. (And the USB feature was a cool bonus, I’m using it more than I thought I would.)I’ve never cranked it full blast, so I don’t know how that sounds. (I have another stereo I use for loud volume when I play guitar). But this is perfect in my kitchen. Turn it on when doing dishes, keep it on for background music throughout the day. Very nice.Best bang for your buck.

I bought this CD Player for my daughters birthday. She was so excited to set it up. When we removed it from the box we were disappointed to find it had an American plug and not suitable for Australia. I’ll have to sort out a plug adaptor.

Easy to operate
This is an easy to operate CD player. It also has radio options. The sound quality is ok. Handles most musical genres. Classical music, ie symphonic, is not its strong suit. But it’s a good deal for the cost.

Very well designed and built.The different functions and their corresponding buttons are very easy to understand.It’s loud enough for me when I practice my songs.It’s just perfect and very light to carry around.Also, they have a great website and it was very easy to download the User Manual.It’s well worth the price.
