This kit worked well in my 2004 Silverado. I paired it with single din 10.1in screen and its included double din adapter. Getting the plastic sides to stay in place while screwing in the head unit was a little troublesome, but nothing any DIYer shouldn’t be able to handle. I also had to use a razor blade to trim off the “model kit” adapter pieces, but it is not noticeable.

Tried installing this in my husbands GMC and it didn’t fit. Now I can’t get a refund bc it is past the time frame to request one. This was just opened YESTERDAY!!! I bought this for him along with all his radio speakers and touch screen for Christmas. He works pipeline so he has to make time to install this. When he did find time (yesterday) it doesn’t fit. He had to run to town (we live out in BFE) and get one that did. Plus spend money that we have already spent to get another one that is the right fit. Can I please be issued a refund? Also send a return label so I can send this product back. This is still brand new!

Hard to install on some radios… Have to keep trying it until it fit. Also, no screws to use. The orginals are too short using this adaptor.

This will not fit your 99-02 Taho,Silverado,Suburban,Escolade. You will need to convert your dash from the din and a half to a double din dash besal from 03-06. You will need the besal, radio bucket, and the metal bracket that holds the bucket. Look up a YouTube video on how to do it. I have done so and it looks factory spot on. Also this doesn’t fit a cerwin vega CV7BM without drilling the holding brackets to a bigger slot.

I found using a small file to clean the tabs to install the side radio rail made this job so much easier, even a razor blade or mail file works. I am very pleased with the product. Took about 5 minutes to prep (I have a lot of tools) installed with everything I needed in my 2007 colorado.Make sure to all the correct parts for your install, chime retention, antenna converter and crimping hardware.Absolutely worth installing to upgrade to Bluetooth wireless calling.

Actually, I kind of bought this by mistake but I’m really happy that I did some goofball cross the lane into my lane and cut the rear of my vehicle. I have the dash cam running, which picked up his license plate because after he hit me he took off and gave the footage to the police and the cop the guy funny thing is they also caught him with a whole pile of drugs in this car sometimes mistakes pay off. I hope this helps you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
