Wow, I’m impressed. This is a fantastic little device, and it comes with quite a few accessories that weren’t listed on the product page which were wonderful surprises.Bluetooth pairing was very easy. I love that Amazon Music is preloaded. Easy to connect to the internet and sync. Touch screen is responsive. Has all the bells and whistles of shuffle, continuous play, etc. I like that its internal storage is easily expandable with a card if necessary.The built in speaker is a little weak, but I don’t plan to use it without headphones so.Battery life seems great. I’ve had it running for an hour and a half and it’s only used 10%.It has neat features like being able to schedule it to turn on and off, and has an auto-off feature that can be set from 5-25mins, or to never off. For a while I was concerned that the device just kept turning off after five minutes of no use, and the device had to be fully turned back on and would make noise which is annoying. Well fortunately, I found this setting and if you just change this setting to never off, then the device won’t turn off unless you manually hold down the power button for several seconds. The screen goes dark to save battery, but all it takes is a quick tap of the power button and the device lights up from its sleeping state (without making noise).The really pleasant surprises were that this came with a screen protector already pre-installed on both front and back, and another unused set in the box. It also comes with a soft plastic case to help protect it from drops and damage. The USB-USB C cord that comes with it even has a USB to USB C dongle, such that you could plug it into a computer that only has USB C. It does come with a set of wired headphones too, though I’ll probably not be using them as they’re not great quality. But I didn’t buy this for the headphones.Overall I’m incredibly pleased and surprised by this product.

I was attracted by the phone-like navigation, nice big (for an MP3 player) screen, Bluetooth, and SD card port. I put most of my tunes on an SD card (SanDisk 256GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I ), which works fine with this MP3 player. Bluetooth pairs up well with my pc, stereo system and a compact tabletop system. I’ve used it so far to play only a few hours straight which makes a small dent on the charge. I don’t know if it actually gets anywhere near 50 hours of play just on the battery. After importing a file, it shows up quickly in the folder, but not always in the album and artist displays. Eventually it does show up in the other displays. Resident sound is tinny, but sounds great on the other devices. It takes 30 seconds to power up (i timed it) which doesn’t bother me. Despite those couple of drawbacks, i happy with this MP3 player. I got it for ease of use and to play on the other sound systems, and it does the job nicely.

UPDATE 1/30/24: We have been using our replacement player for a few days now and it’s performing wonderfully. My son is thrilled with this product, as am I. I’m bumping this review from 2 stars to 5, and hoping the great performance continues!UPDATE 1/17/24: The seller reached out to me right away after my review of my poor experience – top notch customer service there. I just submitted this for an exchange. I’ll update review after we get the new one… hopefully we just had a lemon and the next one we get will operate smoothly with Spotify!INITIAL REVIEW: I was so excited to buy this for my 8yo for Christmas. We wanted something for him to listen to his Spotify playlists on. This product has been extremely glitchy with Spotify. It will work perfectly for a while and then stop responding, force close, and freeze up the player for an extended period of time. I’m so disappointed – we wanted this almost exclusively for the Spotify and it’s not functioning well.

Great MP3 player for kids. Rugged enough to stand up to my 11-year-old’s usage, supports Spotify. Navigation is a little clumsy but my son has no problem with it.Only advice: don’t forget your password. It’s virtually impossible to reset.Luoran customer support was really helpful. This is a nice mp3 player, but I am giving it 3 stars because it is difficult to charge. We thought the battery had failed, because it would not charge on any of our cords. We eventually figured out that, while it requires a new USBC cord, it will only charge with the old USB charging standard. Since all cords are usually attached to newer charging ports, it will not charge. But if you connect it to a computer’s USB port or any other port that is only 1amp, it should charge. It’s pretty weird and limiting, but the device itself is nice.

I was looking for a small device to play Spotify (not a cell phone) Louran suprised me, the device is incredible, works prety good, conect to wifi and bluetoth, come with many Apps and you can add a memory card that will help to store a lot of songs, pics and videos.I highly recomend

My daughter has LOVED using her Luoran MP3 player. She mostly uses Spotify and has used wired and bluetooth headphones, both work well. Unfortunately, last night the device would no longer connect to wifi and gave an NVRAM error. Not knowing what that meant, we tried to reset the device to see if that would help, but now it is stuck at the start up screen and has been that way for about 24 hours with no change. It looks like others have had this error and customer support told them to email, but I have not had a response so far so I’m hoping a post here might help!We have really appreciated this music player for allowing our daughter to listen to the music she likes easily without having access to social media or a web browser, I hope we can get it working again!!EDIT: Luoran customer service responded very quickly to my email and ended up refunding this purchase even though it had been about 6 months. It’s a shame we can’t get the device working again but I appreciate their generosity and we will likely try again with ordering a new one.

I love this mp3. I gave each of my kids one. I just uninstalled apps I didn’t want them to have access to. I can always factory reset it and get them back. I set up spotify kids on it for my kids and gave them access to my play list (no bad words this way). They love being able figure out what kind of music they like. I also got the bigger sd memory card. Before the card it could hold about 400 pictures. I just directly connected it to my computer using the charger it came with and transfered the pics that I selected. They love being able to set them as the background and add filters. It does not have a camera in it.
