These are very easy to install. They are sturdy, easy to adjust and use and worth every cent. The two things that I Don’t like about them: 1) They can damage your vent if tightened too much, so start with them a little loose and tighten them a little until they don’t move but are not overtight. 2) They rattle a little when a phone is not in it. I tried other cheaper mounts before and they were miserable – kept falling or were unsteady etc.. These are Worth It! Get one for yourself and a friend!

Very easy to install and sturdy afterwards.Unlike the magnetic holders, this one can clamp on tightly, so my iPhone never falls, and it can release my phone instantly with one squeeze of the button at the back.I can charge my phone with the coiled car charger, too. Don’t need to worry the coiled charger line will tug down the phone with it.It’s a very practical product.

The design of this is good. Once installed, it’s solid. The device itself doesn’t have a super solid feel, but you get what you pay for and this is priced well. But, again, once installed, it is pretty solid thanks to the hook design. I found it a little fumbly to install, but very doable – took about 5 mins. The release button is on the back. I’ve had one of these with the release button on the side. After using both, I think I prefer the side button – but, that’s not a deal breaker. One thing that I didn’t think about that is probably common to most of these holders (with this design) is that once installed on an air vent, the air vent cannot be adjusted vertically. That’s not a big knock, just an FYI.

High Expectations –
I bought this since it was similar to another one I bought for a different car. I love it and would purchase it again if I had a need for an additional one.It was easy to put together based on logic – I didn’t even need to look at the instructions, but I could see where there is one step where most people may need to. It is still pretty easy. It took me less than 5 minutes.As long as your car has physical vents like it shows in the picture, it will work. For example, it will NOT work in a Tesla where you cannot tough the actual vent and therefore cannot attach it to it :)The way the arm with the hook attaches then tightens works really well and makes me 100% sure that it will not fall or come loose which is important when you are driving since you don’t want something falling and causing you to lose control.It also stays exactly the way you want it turned/facing since you can tighten it that way. If you want it to be able to move a little each time you get in, you can tighten it a little less and it is still tight enough so that it won’t be moving around while you are driving.The sides open super wide so you can easily and quickly put any size phone in it and close the “arms” around it and get going. Then, when you need to release your phone, there is one button you quickly press. It is located in a place that is easy to get to with one hand while easily holding your phone without worry of dropping it. So again, you can quickly and easily get going.You want your cell holder to just be easy and quick so you can get on with it and this is what that does. You don’t have to hassle with it and you don’t have to worry about it moving or falling. Set it and forget it!I am super picky about these things and have no patience for things that are a hassle. You will love it!

When I push the side arms in to hold the phone, it pushes the down volume button so the volume of my music is constantly turning off. I have to be careful to loosely push in the arms which is not ideal because then my phone bounces around. I’ve tried adjusting the bottom leg of the stand to avoid this but every way I try to finagle it the side arms are always on top of the buttons. I have a Google Pixel 7 for reference.Also, the button to expand the side arms is on the top of the back of the stand which is awkward to reach. It should really be on the bottom. The last stand I used for years had it on the bottom and it made it much easier/quicker to get my phone out.The stand also bounces around while I’m driving despite having tightened it as much as I can on the air vent. Not sure why it’s still moving around but it’s pretty annoying.Would not recommend getting this phone stand when there are many other better options out there.

The product works great in my daughters Kia and husbands Ram, but not so well in my Mercedes. If you can position the way your vents face from left to right the cell phone holder will move each time you turn a curve from left to right. Only good for vehicle which the vents are stationary.
