Used this on a motorcycle to cover the radio. The clip on the factory cover broke and we couldn’t find something to cover the radio until this. It’s perfect!

I paired with with a Pyle 1Dim marine radio. The slot was almost too tight for the radio. It was a little difficult to squeeze it in. But maybe that is a good thing because the radio will not bounce around on the water. After install the radio is super secure and feels well connected to the boat. I mounted the door so it drops open, this way when using the boat I can just keep it popped down and easily access the radio buttons.

Installed on a boat to cover Motorola pm400 radio fits well the cover is large, surface mounts and has a sticky back gasket. The door is made to flip down not up.

Restoring cj5 needed just for now radio this cover was suggested and fits the radio but not in our dashboard hole so we sent this back but it was perfect fit and great quality

This thing, never in a million years, would ever have the “strength” to hold it self all the way open. And i do not see a way to adjust the spring to allow it to do that.Luckily, i actually wanted installed upside down, due to it being used to cover a flip up screen stereo. So when it opens, the cover is at the bottom. Works just fine like that.It is great for the price, and it served my needs perfectly. I installed it in an aftermarket motorcycle fairing, with a Pioneer flip up screen single din stereo. It is deep enough that the stereo knobs do no hit the cover when closed, and its low profile enough, that it doesnt interfere with the screen coming out and flipping up all the way, and does so with out hitting or getting in the way.I only had it for 4 months before i sold the motorcycle, so i cant comment on its longevity past 4 months. Hinge was without issue as well.

This was an exact match for what i replaced. Pretty positive it is the same brand i bought years ago. This one that i just installed looks fine, but the hinge is loose/sloppy and cheap feeling. I’m sure it will work ok.

All the reviews that say the spring is too weak to hold the flap open are 100% correct. I mounted it upside down to alleviate that problem.
