Trouble free operation, I had to replace the original one on my boat because the bilge got flooded and it drowned, but I’ve had little or no problems with Simrad autopilot components.

A necessary product woth the autopilot , if it is used with an inboard engine.The instructions are m0re or less useless.Sold with US hydraulic fittings , which are useless in europe.All in all a useless expensive product DISAPPOINTING Simrad!!

It was defective. I have had numerous problems with these rudder feedback units. I have been through four of them in the past eight years. I am considering biting the bullet and buying a new unit of a different make.
