By far the simplest Bluetooth device I’ve ever used! Connection happens fast, and if it connects to the wrong device or you just want to switch, hold the big button. LED color ring gives you clear indication of it being connected, disconnected, or discoverable.Setup is simple – power cable automatically turns it on, your choice of analog output. I set this up & breakdown every week for an open mic to run interlude music & backing tracks.Audio quality is perfect to me, no clicks or pops or other strange sounds. The only skips & jitters I hear come from my phone because Android. Range is impressive, goes farther w/o issues than any other Bluetooth thing I own.1st time user experience with this was pleasant, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to add Bluetooth to their analog gear. It is a bit overpriced, will try another brand/model & compare to this.

is a truly excellent Bluetooth receiver.Formerly I had a computer attached to my
Logitech Compact Speaker System Z320 for Notebooks
which are excellent powered speakers (though they have been discontinued and you do not want to buy them now at the insanely high price dealers are asking).Because of certain aesthetics in our home, my wife wanted me to get rid of that computer and install a Bluetooth receiver in its place. (The speakers are in our foyer and she detested that a computer was installed there. I guess I can’t blame her. The computer really did look out of place.)So, in the spirit of “a happy wife is a happy life,” I ordered this Bluetooth receiver from Amazon the other day and I am very glad that I did.The sound produced from those speakers is at least the equal of what I heard via the computer and the ease of use, convenience, and aesthetics of having a Bluetooth receiver instead of a computer in our foyer is much more acceptable to her.This particular receiver has Bluetooth 4.2 plus AptX. Regarding sound quality over Bluetooth transmission at this time, that’s as good as it gets.Setup could not have been easier. I didn’t even look at the instructions (which are written in “Chinglish”) until after I had the unit up and running.I connect its power supply to a switched outlet. When I activate the outlet, this receiver turns on instantly.First pairing was almost instantaneous. (And, as with most other devices of this type, you only have to initially pair it one time. Then it “remembers” your connection.)And now the connection to my cell phone is automatic and occurs practically instantly.Reception is excellent, as good as with any other Bluetooth receiver I own (and I own quite a few of them).There are two “levels” of sound quality. When the large round LED shows blue, that is “regular” sound. When the “3D” button is pressed the LED glows green and the sound is enhanced. I have been using the 3D effect exclusively. To my ears, it sound better that way. (You, of course, may disagree.)Though I am currently using this particular Bluetooth receiver in our foyer with different powered computer speakers (

Save that old setup!I had been on the edge of thinking it was time to say goodbye to my trusty Technics receiver due to a lack of BT connection.We play a lot of records and CD’s at our house, and love the sound of our current setup so the idea of losing my existing system, and replacing it with a bluetooth friendly stereo was not the route i wanted to go. But we were really wanting to add the ability to stream audio from our phones and laptops, so something had to change.This thing was a gamechanger. I’m sure super audio nerds will find something to fuss about, but honestly, for under $50, I find no issue. Plugs right into an empty RCA input (TV in my case), and i have it piggybacked off the receiver power supply, so turn the receiver on, and it’s on. I’m sure there are “nicer” units out there that do this, but i’d be hard pressed to find one as easy on the wallet that performs as well.Been using it for a few weeks now, and no issue. Have never experienced connectivity issues, range is what it needs to me, i can be anywhere in my house, and signal never drops or crackles. Pairing new devices is simple and straightforward. Just remember to turn off bluetooth on a previously paired phone before pairing a new device, this thing locks on like a beast and as soon as it’s on, it will, if possible immediately pair itself with the last device used. Nice for ease of use, a minor annoyance in a 2 phone household where we both like to stream to the stereo sometimes.There is a “3D sound” button, but connected my my setup, which includes Klipsh 5.1 speakers, all the button seems to do is make things louder and bassier, maybe it’s more dynamic with a simple 2 speaker setup, don’t know, don’t care, its unnecessary for my use case, and has no bearing on the primary function which is what I came for.TL:DR. Great little unit, wallet friendly, small form factor, zero connectivity issues, and clear sound, big win for keeping your older hifi kicking.

I recently got a Sony PS-LX310BT turntable with bluetooth built in and was hoping it would just connect to my Apple TV, but it didn’t. So, I picked up this bluetooth receiver and it works like a charm! Pairing was ridiculously simple, you literally just hit the pair button on this and on the other device, and even without a display or anything to select which device it just pairs super quickly. It auto powers down (or goes to sleep) when I turn off my turntable, and auto turns back on and connects when I turn the turntable back on! Couldn’t be simpler. I have decent ears and don’t hear any flaws in audio quality, though I wouldn’t consider myself an audiofile. Anyway, very happy with this purchase. Would recommend.

I’ve bought three of this brand and all have worked fine for Bluetooth streaming from my iPhones or the Android phones of other family members. And yes, it works for any app source – Spotify, SiriusXM, YouTube, etc. I haven’t tried Tidal or Qobuz yet so I can’t comment on those.Don’t expect audiophile sound for this money, but it’s totally acceptable for casual listening.

Bought this to play music from streaming apps and cell phone on my house stereo system, which is pre-bluetooth. Easy to connect with RCA cords I already owned. Had to adjust volume on device not to over modulate the input signal. Once I found the sweet spot the device worked great. Range in a fairly large two story home is limited but still at least 30ft. My phone supports the high quality bluetooth codec and so not sure if quality suffers with lower codecs. Can be easily portable to move if you have multiple systems.

But… the sound quality is not great, at all… and I had some interference noise issues with certain setups. Maybe it’ll shine if I utilize it in a different way, but I found it to be a pretty uninspired product, and not a humongous deal considering the quality of the sound (or lack thereof).Again, this could be an incredibly useful solution for someone trying to bluetooth an analog signal and with limited options— just don’t expect it to sound like an actual bluetooth speaker, regardless of what quality speakers you pipe your audio through. Maybe the pricier versions of this product are worth it.

First, a big thanks to Benjamin for his video review. Was frustrated that I couldn’t get one of my favorite stations WBGO, their FM signal waves in and out. First the good, the unit is compact, easy to set-up and link to your iphone. I used my own better quality RCA-red/white cables. So in essence I can now get another favorite “the River” from Mass.or any other station that streams, so cool. Now the bad, the sound quality is a bit in the barrel, not even close to CD/LP quality. Most younger people have become used to inferior MP3 audio which is bass heavy for now popular electronic music. Bluetooth is a LOSSY format, meaning its compressed audio, at its best only 65 percent of CD quality. That said, I am very happy with this well designed, well priced unit which has updated my trusty Yamaha R-S500 receiver and allows me to pick up any station that streams its audio. Good job!

You need to turn the equalizer all the way down on all frequencies and make sure you have an equalizer on the phone app (Spotify) down too. If not, you might blow down your walls the first time you link it up. The patch cords don’t exactly match what you’re plugging them into (language barrier I guess) but just experiment. Eventually, you’ll be really happy with this thing. Oh, and make sure you turn it off, or you risk waking the whole house up if you turn on some videos late at night on your device…
